AzLA taking applications for the 2018 Mentoring Program through February 16

The Professional Development Committee would like to place special focus on the following opportunity provided by AzLA’s Mentoring Program–a chance for Arizona library staff to help each other develop. Anyone interested in serving as a mentor or mentee is encouraged to apply.

Mentoring is a practice proven to result in increased efficacy, retention, and upward mobility in your chosen profession.  Both mentors and mentees report higher rates of job satisfaction, engagement, and yes, even pay!  Submit your applications for the 2018 mentoring program through February 16th.  This year with the added option of near-peer mentoring, which provides all the same psycho-social benefits of traditional mentoring while providing both parties with the opportunity to lead and develop.
