Arizona Archives Alliance Symposium 2016: What’s My Job Again?

By Renee James

Please mark your calendars for Friday, October 7for the annual Arizona Archives Alliance Archives Month Symposium, to be held at the Tempe History Museum. This year, our symposium, “What’s My Job Again?,” will explore the shifting roles of archivists, and will include in-depth discussions of job titles, responsibilities, and the need for functional analyses of existing jobs in archival repositories. We are pleased to host Chrystal Carpenter of Elon University and Erin O’Meara of the University of Arizona as our keynote speakers.

The symposium is free to attend, and lunch is provided free to members. Lunch can be purchased for $10 for non-members.  To purchase lunch, you can use the “Pay Now” feature on our website, or join the organization for just $20 for professionals and $10 for students. Because space is limited, we request that everyone RSPV to Renee.d.James@asu.edu for the event.

Renee James is Archive Specialist, Archives & Special Collections, at Arizona State University.
