Call for Proposals: AzLA Virtual Conference 2019

By Becky Brendel

Call for proposals for the AzLA Virtual Conference, to be held April 4, 2019, and focused on front-line staff.

What have you learned outside library school?

The 2019 AzLA Virtual Conference is looking for presentations on the topic “What You Don’t Learn in Library School.” Proposals will be accepted through Dec. 31, 2018. Both 15-minute and 45-minute presentation slots are available.

The Virtual Conference will be held via webinars on April 4, 2018, with all presentations uploaded to the AzLA YouTube channel later. The Virtual Conference’s goal is to provide professional development opportunities for front-line and paraprofessional library staff. If you’ve started a service your patrons adore, have graduated from the school of hard library knocks, or have other expertise you’d love to share, we want to hear from you!

All questions about the Virtual Conference may be directed to the Professional Development Committee via Becky Brendel (rebecca.brendel@yumalibrary.org).
